Beatrice Gibson´s project, “La Nuit,” is a feature film about a women, who, post an abortion, wanders the city at night. Encountering an array of characters human and otherwise, dream and reality start to collapse. Gibson’s work is known for its experimental and emotive nature. Both personal and political and drawing on cult figures from experimental music, literature and poetry from Alice Notley to Kathy Acker to Gertrude Stein, her films are resolutely feminist in form. Merging documentary and fiction and liquifying the division between the two, they range from experimental autobiography to collective portrait to nocturnal thriller.
 La Nuit will be produced by @somesuchandco @nortedistribution and BBC Film.
